名勝「気比の松原」をバックに繰り広げられる一夜。海面には読経に合わせて鮮やかな灯篭が流され、幽玄な空間に。今年は「かがやきのまち 敦賀」をテーマに、約１０,０００発の花火を打ち上げます。北陸新幹線開業１周年や大阪・関西万博開催を記念したプログラム、平和への想いや敦賀のシンボルを夜空一面に映し、敦賀の明るい未来を花火で描きます。

A night unfolding against the backdrop of the famous Kibino Matsubara pine grove. Colorful lanterns float on the sea surface in time with sutra recitations, creating a mysterious atmosphere. This year, under the theme of “The Shining City of Tsuruga,” approximately 10,000 fireworks will be launched. The program commemorates the first anniversary of the Hokuriku Shinkansen's opening and the Osaka-Kansai Expo, projecting messages of peace and Tsuruga's symbols across the night sky, and painting a bright future for Tsuruga through fireworks.
