you know what other eerie/haunted game this made me think of? jumanji. as a kid, i always thought it was super cool and wished it was a real thing. or even just being able to find some cursed board game or deck of cards to play with. also that one scene where the kid is pulling apart the packed dirt to reveal it was always satisfying to watch.
